Recorders & Players

Video recording is provided by different technologies including: Tape Cassette, Optical Disc, and Hard Disk Drive, deployed in a range of applications from Broadcast through Professional Video to CCTV and Security.

Digital recording in both High Definition and Standard Definition is a dual capability of JVC's latest range of ProHD, including camcorders, VCRs and portable Hard Disk recorders.

High Definition Recorders

BR-HD50E Compact, desktop 12V DC recorder player, offering both DV and HDV recording, which accepts both MiniDV and full-size DV cassettes. It operates in HD and SD as a source deck for an NLE system, as a tape archiving recorder and, with its HDMI port, as an HD presentation deck. In HD mode it plays and records in both 50Hz and 60Hz, plus various different cross-conversion facilities are built-in, including output of 1080i. It is a truly flexible multi-format video machine. This recorder player belongs to ProHD, the name given by JVC to their range of progressive HD products for professional HD systems.

Professional DV

	BR-DV3000E The BR-DV3000E is a simple, no frills recorder/player with a compact and stylish design that can be installed horizontally or vertically.

	SR-DVM600E Revolutionary three-in-one Digital Video Recorder incorporating 40GB HDD, Mini-DV and DVD in a compact package. The SR-DVM600 is in essence a slightly de-featured SR-DVM700: (a) The hard disk drive capacity is 40GB (not 250GB) (b) There is no RS-232 connection (c) The actual DV signal itself cannot be recorded onto the hard disk (d) Customisation of menu backgrounds & fonts is not possible.
	SR-DVM700E Revolutionary three-in-one Digital Video Recorder incorporating 250GB HDD, Mini-DV and DVD in a compact package. This DVR is capable of recording the three formats in both directions, enabling six way multi-dubbing. Its many applications include digital archiving and mastering off an NLE.

DVD Recorders

	BD-X200E Professional DVD Recorder, which records direct to disc. It manages encoding, authoring and burning, simultaneously, in real-time.
	BD-X201ME NOW AVAILABLE: Medical DVD Recorder, which records direct to disc. It manages encoding, authoring and burning, simultaneously, in real-time. EN60601-1 standards approved, condition code recording, foot pedal control and DVD session writing capable.
