JVC Professional Europe at IBC 2010
At this year’s event, JVC will introduce the new flagship of its ProHD camcorder line, the GY-HM790,
which offers new features for both studio and ENG applications. In the studio, its modular design allows cleaner integration, while in the field, its three 1/3-inch CCDs allow a
lighter, more compact form factor for better manoeuvrability. The GY-HM790 records to low-cost, non-proprietary SDHC solid-state media cards, in ready-to-edit file formats for fast
workflow with Apple Final Cut Pro (.mov) and other major NLE systems (.mp4).
Outputs from all our camcorders - including the hand-held GY-HM100 and the award-winning GY-HM700 - will be displayed onboard the ‘JVC Creation Van’, which will also feature the KM-H3000 digital production switcher. Also new to IBC will be the JVC DT-R Series cost-effective HD multi-format production monitors; available in both 17” and 24” models, these are professional screens with essential features for studio applications, providing the high picture quality people have come to expect from JVC in a simple, reliable and robust design. Alongside these monitors will be the DT-V G Series of professional LCD monitors with 3G and dual-link HD/SD-SDI inputs.
A leader in professional flat-panel displays and D-ILA projectors, JVC will spotlight its popular GD-463D10 46-inch 3D LCD monitor and IF-2D3D1 3D image processor, delivering real-time monitoring of 3D content or real-time 2D-to-3D conversion. Finally, JVC will show the new SR-HD1500 and SR-HD1250 Blu-ray disc and HDD recorders, with a built-in hard disk drive for easy duplication and disc authoring without a PC.
